CMS will begin reimbursing for Recognzied CDC Diabetes Prevention Programs beginning January 1, 2018 but you MUST demonstrate a full-year of operating the CDC Diabetes Prevention Program...therefore, it's imparative that you start as soon as possible so you don't delay this great opportunity. Practitioners are urged to begin the process now, through the
Online Practitioner Enrollment (OPE) tool
, in order to complete the process and receive their approval before the new enrollment and claims management system
, iHealth Partners Network, launched on December 1, 2016. for the CDC Diabetes Prevention Program.
Providers who have not enrolled into the iHealth Partners Network and received their approval by January 1, 2017, will not be able to receive referrals, submit claims receive payments, or verify member eligibility (until they are approved). You must pass the credentialling process before you will be eligible to join the network. Once you are approved you will be invoiced or directed to a payment center.
